2026 marks the 82nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. The main celebrations will take place on August 1, and their central moment will be the W Hour at 5 p.m.

The program starts in the second half of July and includes concerts, exhibitions, meetings, family events, educational activities, ceremonies at memorial sites and events organized in various parts of Warsaw.

The premiere concert of Błażej Król will take place in the Freedom Park next to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. It is accompanied by the premiere of an album inspired by the summer of 1944 uprising.

The rally organized on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising will last until August 2. The program included meetings with insurgents, city games, workshops and scouting events.

March of Remembrance

The celebrations will begin with a ceremony dedicated to the civilian inhabitants of Wola. At 7:00 p.m., participants will set off towards the Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery.

Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square

On the evening of August 1, the square will become a place for singing insurgent songs together.

Wola and the Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery

On August 5, there will be a March of Remembrance dedicated to the civilian inhabitants of Wola. The route leads from the Memorial Square to the Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery.

Łazienki Królewskie

An exhibition of photographs taken by Home Army photojournalists will be presented in the Open-Air Gallery.

Hall B of the Municipal Bus Company

At ul. The main part of the family game "Labirynt '44" will take place at Włościańska 52.
