SAJA Studio

Mission and responsibility
An independent educational project that combines archival photographs, a map of Warsaw and contemporary AI animation - with a clear separation of document and interpretation.
Why it was created
Photography captures a moment, but it does not always allow you to immediately understand the place, time and people. "Movement 1944" combines photos with the date, location and short historical context, and then shows a contemporary interpretation of the movement prepared using AI tools.
It is not intended to replace archives or create the appearance of recovered recordings. The project is intended to encourage people to look carefully at sources, get to know the authors of the photographs and continue to check the history themselves.
Author and contributors
Idea, implementation, assembly and AI Photo-Enlivenment. The creator is responsible for selecting the form, preparing animations and developing the website.
Each scene identifies a known author of the photo. The project includes, among others: Sylwester Braun "Kris", Eugeniusz Lokajski "Brok", Stanisław Bala "Giza" and other photographers in 1944.
The materials used include coloring prepared by Studio Produkcyjne ORKA (2023) and Mikołaj Kaczmarek (2017). Details are attributed to specific scenes where confirmed.
